Drone Inspection Terms & Conditions

By booking a drone inspection with Amarsi & Co, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Scope of Service

Amarsi & Co provides basic drone inspection services, including aerial photography and video capture.

I do not provide damage reports, insurance assessments, structural evaluations, or formal technical analysis. Imagery and video are supplied for your internal reference and for sharing with your chosen contractor or team.

All inspections are conducted by a CAA A2 CofC qualified operator in accordance with UK aviation and safety regulations.

A mandatory pre-check (airspace and feasibility assessment) may be required prior to confirming any booking.

2. Client Responsibilities

You must provide clear access, permissions, and accurate information for the inspection site.

You are responsible for ensuring compliance with rules regarding restricted areas, private land, and third-party property.

If access, permissions, or site conditions prevent the flight from proceeding, any pre-check, call-out, or travel fees remain payable.

Clients must not rely solely on the imagery or video for any critical safety, structural, legal, or insurance decisions.

3. Flight Safety & Limitations

All drone operations will follow UK CAA regulations and safe operating practices.

Flights may be postponed, delayed, or cancelled due to adverse weather, environmental conditions, or safety concerns. Weather-related cancellations do not constitute a breach of contract.

Certain locations (e.g., airports, prisons, power lines, controlled or restricted airspace) may limit or prevent drone operations. Required permissions are not guaranteed.

The Remote Pilot has full and final authority over all flight decisions and may refuse, adjust, or terminate a flight at any time for safety reasons.

No operations will be carried out in the hours of darkness.

4. Drone Pre-Check Fee

A pre-flight airspace and location assessment may be carried out to determine flight feasibility, restrictions, safety considerations, and any required permissions.

A non-refundable pre-check fee may apply. This fee covers the time and resources required to complete the assessment and does not guarantee that a flight will be possible.

5. Use of Imagery & Data

Imagery and video are provided in digital format (JPEG/PNG for photos, MP4 for video).

You may share imagery with contractors or third parties for the purpose of repairs, inspection, or quoting, but the client is responsible for ensuring appropriate and lawful use.

Commercial advertising, resale, or redistribution requires written permission and may incur additional licensing fees.

Amarsi & Co may use anonymised imagery for portfolio or marketing purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing before the inspection begins.

6. Payment, Cancellation & No-Show Policy

A 20% deposit must be received prior to the inspection.

The remaining invoice balance is payable within 12 hours after the inspection has been completed.

Client cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled flight. Late cancellations may incur charges, including pre-check and travel fees.

Failure to attend the agreed appointment (no-show) will result in all pre-check, call-out, and travel fees remaining payable.

Amarsi & Co reserves the right to reschedule inspections due to weather, safety concerns, or airspace restrictions.

Travel within 10 miles of Chesterfield is included; travel beyond this range may incur additional fees.

7. Equipment Failure

In the rare event of technical or equipment malfunction, the inspection will be rearranged at no additional labour cost.
Pre-check and travel fees remain non-refundable, as those services will have already been completed.

8. Liability

Amarsi & Co is not liable for any loss, damage, or costs arising from the use or interpretation of drone imagery or video.

Clients assume full responsibility for decisions made based on the provided imagery.

Maximum liability is strictly limited to the total fee paid for the inspection service.

9. Emergency Drone Callout – Flat-Rate Service

  1. Service Scope

    • The Emergency Drone Callout is a flat-rate service of £250, which includes the callout charge.

    • Deliverables (images or video) are not guaranteed and may vary depending on weather, site conditions, or airspace restrictions.

    • This service is designed for urgent property or storm damage inspections and is available on a same-day basis, subject to pilot and drone availability.

  2. Mileage / Travel Fees

    • Travel beyond 10 miles from Chesterfield is charged at 45p per mile.

  3. Availability & Scheduling

    • Bookings must be confirmed directly by phone or online.

    • Flights may be postponed or cancelled due to adverse weather, safety concerns, or airspace restrictions.

  4. Payment

    • Full payment of £250, plus any applicable mileage fees, is required before flight.

  5. Liability

    • Amarsi & Co is not liable for any decisions or actions taken based on imagery or video captured during the emergency callout.

    • Maximum liability is limited to the total fee paid for the service.

  6. Client Responsibilities

    • Clients must provide access and ensure compliance with relevant property and airspace regulations.

    • If the flight cannot proceed due to lack of access, permissions, or unsafe conditions, the callout fee remains payable.

10. Agreement

By booking or using Amarsi & Co drone inspection services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions in full.
