Alright, I’m Jay.
I take wedding photographs. I’m quite good at it. More importantly, I’m quite good at weddings.
The short version
Former police.
Current professional third wheel.
Before this, I spent nine years in policing. Slightly odd career progression, but it turns out reading a room, talking to absolutely anyone and staying calm when things go sideways are all rather useful at weddings.
I’m not interested in turning your wedding into a twelve-hour photoshoot. I’ll step in when you need me, make sure you look bloody good, then disappear back into the crowd when you don’t.
By dinner I’ll probably know your parents, your bridesmaids, half the table plan and considerably more about one of your uncles than I ever needed to.

I’ll sort the group photos, straighten the buttonhole, tell you when something looks awkward and give you direction when you actually need it. Then I’ll get out of the way. You’ve got a wedding to enjoy.
